Marblehead Lighthouse

One of my favorite
spots to get away to
is Lake Erie

When my kids were little
my husband would take them
here to Marblehead Lighthouse

Light keepers House

and they would navigate
among the rocks

watch boats

sometimes just looking out
and pondering

at the water crashing

and look
for the different fossil shapes
in the rocks

Fossils

?coral

?fish

? mollusk

? Vertebrae

? crustacean

there is a comfort in the fact
that some things don't change

  2. I think I am going to take my father up to the area in the next couple of weekends. We spent a lot of time there when I was younger. I think he would enjoy the trip down Memory Lane. La
