Bird Cage

I tried to come up
with something
 unique for the name
but couldn't....

I bought this bird cage
abt 2 yrs ago

and bird stand separately

and have gone back and forth
on what color I finally decided ORB
original post

This seems to be the year
of catch up on all the projects
I have had sitting around

A Whiter Shade....

I had bought 2 cheese keepers
awhile ago
and I also have had these bases for awhile

lightly sanded everything

I didn't like the original look of these
I'm also not sure what they were

I sprayed them with
Heirloom White

and glued the bases
to the tops
and viola!!

I've had this table for awhile
it was in really bad shape
the leather had cigarette burns

 and initially
 I painted in black
but hated it!
So it got a couple of coats
of Heirloom White too!

I got these plates
quite a while ago

(yes I am finally
getting to all "those" projects
I spray painted it
again with the Heirloom White
(yes I do use other colors)

Using the Damask Decor
Cricut cartridge
I cut this out
of vinyl

using transfer paper I centered it
and rubbed it into place

It took longer
to choose a design!

Most of these items
will be in my upcoming yard sale

Feather Your Wreath

This is a very easy wreth
and could be made with
on hand items

I Wrapped the wreath
 (from the dollar store)
 with a green boa
(I got at GW outlet for .80)

I pushed a wooden skewer threw
tone of the bottom holes
 in the plastic eggs
 (from the dollar store 18eggs/$1)

I wrapped them with
plain cellophane tape

wrapped a ribbon around the wreath
then around the sticks

made a plain bow

then made another bow
on top of the previous bow

Free Paint Sample

I got my free Valspar sample today

I was impressed on how nice the pkging is

They give away 1000 samples
every day starting at 10 EST
It came with the paint sample
and a small pan
and rollers

It also includes a $5 off cpn
complimentary palette

I'm not sure when it started
but my understanding is it will last 100 days

Even if you don't have a project
in mind
you might want to get a sample
for future use
even if its just for frames

I will be using mine
as the accent color on
the outside of my house
