come 3 to a pkg

for $1

I measured the pieces

and cut them out 

with the cricut machine

then applied modpodge

 using a

I sanded the edges and corner

Now for the binding

I cut the piece

with the cricut machine

and attached with modpodge

Before I put them on I rolled them

so it would be easier to put around the curve

Once they were on

I covered it 

with modpodge

letting it dry overnight

standing up

 Now on to embellish
applied the ribbon
with double sided tape

for this one I cut a paper doily

Once it was to size

I applied modpodge 

Once it was where I wanted it 

I dabbed it into place

because I was afraid it 

would tear

 and allowed it to dry

added ribbon

and some glitz

(the glue will dry clear)

A few other designs

 Some I didn't embellish
and a few I'm not sure
yet what to put on them

I will be selling these

so I have put them in sleeves

Pennant Banner

For the information booth

at our First Friday Event

I made a pennant Banner

I got poster board at Walmart

for .50

I used a plastic banner

from the dollar store as a pattern

I cut out letters on the cricut at 4 in

then using transfer paper

 I applied it to the poster board

I then used see through contact paper

and cut leaving a slight boarder

so in case of foul weather 

it won't get wet

cut 2 holes in the top

and strung ribbon through them

this was a very easy project

how they looked at the event

Travelin.....

A friend of mine 

is relocating

so I thought I would make

a journal/scrapbook for her

so this is a sketch pad turned travel journal

First I unwound the spiral binding

I had an atlas I used for the out sid

once I glued it on I reinserted the spirl binding

cutting out the route 

she will take

I glues a car button on the front

Her name will go  in

the checkered oval

On the inside is the State of Ohio

I combined the state bird, tree flower int he corner

then had the state stats

on the left is a pocket 

with the map of our town

 the next pg was for the town she is moving to

and then the next few pgs

are the history of the town she is leaving

There are some pockets for mementos

I did make some tags so they weren't empty

The back pgs

are the same but for where she is going to

You know you are from AZ if....

this was fun to make

because I lived in AZ for 

25 years
