Turn the page....

I've decided to cut down
 the paper clutter
so I have started scanning
 things I want
to save to put on CD

I started with cookbooks/magazines
(these are only a few)

It is amazing how you collecting
 them over the years

Since it's just the 2 of us
we really don't need all those
casserole/family recipes

Its funny how you save things
 to use in the future
then one day you realize
 that it doesn't fit
"you" any more

It is also funny to see what use to be "in"

What were we thinking....

Lets home none of these come back....

So far I have cut down

more than 1/2 of the magazines
booklets etc

Some will find a home
 with a young family
others will be sold
 to a local used bookstore

Tomorrow I get to go threw
7 years of these:

and 5 years of jewelry magazines

How abt you? Do you have magazine/books
that are no longer you?

16wks/ 4 mo

I can't believe
 Isabella's 4 months old today!

That means she has lived in her forever home for
1/2 of her life already

She loves to sit and look out the window
at  birds and squirrels

This is the bestest spot cuz
she can
sleep next to the
heat register and look outside

She's lost 4 teeth
2 on the bottom have come in
which looks very odd

She has started sleeping
most of the night 6-8 hrs
When she gets tired at 9pm
she walks into her kennel
and lays down

This picture is sort of sad to me

8 wks                                               16 wks

Display Only

These a a little bigger
than the teacups here

But still not really
enough to wet your whistle

This one is marked

Has very pretty roses on it

This one has no markings and is
rather odd in shape
and I'm not sure the base goes
with the cup
but it came into the thrift shop this way

the cup is light blue
the bas light green

Wall Decor Dilemma

I have a dilemma

Before Christmas I had a rectangular
map over the fireplace
I never was "in love" with it
more just " in like"

So when Christmas came
 and I found
this round Santa

I realized that I would be in love
with something similar
ie round

sooooo
now what is out there
 that is this large
and round?

Since there is a mirror in the fireplace
would that be too much?

or maybe?

I've thought abt a clock but I'm not so
sure that it will "go" in a
Victorian cottage

I've thought abt something metal

but I have 2 metal objects in the room
one above the window

and the other over a door

would it be too much?

or maybe this?

Is there something
 I'm not thinking abt?
Any suggestions?
