A Walk in the Woods

After all the kidlings

went on their merry way

after Easter Brunch

we decided to go

for a walk

1st we went to 

James Ranch Park

to check out what plants

were emerging

We came across 

a duck nest

We counted 15 eggs

The water was a bit chilly

We were having such a 

good time we decided to

go over to the nature preserve

It was a great ending

for such a beautiful day

Flowers a Bloomin'

The side wildflower bed

has broke out in blooms

The Chives are blooming

Besides smelling and tasting good

they are so pretty....

Idk what kind of wildflowers

these are 

but the orange is sooo bright

For just a moment....

In one of the brief

moments of sun

after a morning of rain

I looked out my

window on the side 

that I have a neighbor

and saw these beautiful flowers

 I decided it was definitely

one of those stop and smell the roses

or maybe stop

and take the photos moments

I loved how the rain drops were on the petals
