Doily Art

Doily Wall Art

This is kind of a blast from the past.
Start out by starching and stretching a doily with pins

While the doily is drying - I covered cardboard with satin material

Spray painted an ugly white frame

After the doily dried I sprayed the back of the doily with spray glue
- this stops it from slipping. I positioned it by finding
the center of the board and the center of the doily.

Place the glass and secure the back

Up on the wall:

  12. Thanks for the great tutorial. I have several old doilies that I have tucked away in a drawer. This is a nice way to finally show them off.
