A month ago we went to my nieces to help
her with her yard.
I blogged abt it here
in the back the trees had been
attacked by the Emerald Ash Borer
so they had to be removed
This weekend we put in
4 Japanese Maples
and a Magnolia
Also added a bunch of annuals
The side of the house walking to the back
To the left we pulled out roses and put them in the front
and added begonias
along the wall are daisies
More daylilies will be added to this area
Learning how to trim out the bushes
Isn't my niece adorable
The Front Yard
Looks really good Jo. So when are you coming to help me with my yard??? :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad you took a tea break after all that gardening. It looks like a beautiful yard and your cute niece is very fortunate that she has a wonderful aunt.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you at the next tea.
Have a great week. Pam
It's looking great! Such a beautiful back yard; I bet the front looks just as great!

Hey Jo, You guys all worked so hard to get that yard looking fantastic! I pulled out 6 big barberries on Sunday afternoon. What a pain! The landscaper wanted $700 to remove 14 bushes and a small tree. My neighbor and I took down the tree and then I did the barberries. How much money do ya think I saved by doing that? LOL
ReplyDeleteE-mail me your phone number again, ok? It was in my cell, but since it went through the wash this morning, it is now DEAD!! :(
hugs, Sue

ReplyDeleteI LOVE your hedges. What are they, and are they hard to maintain? I am in Zone 5, central Iowa.
