I got this album at Joann Fabrics
for $4
I would wait until they have 40% coupons
I removed the photo pages from the back
Luckily they were actually apart
when I bought them
Because 12x12 paper
isn't big enough to cover over the edges
I cut the piece in half
and cut the top edge at 7 1/2 in
so the pieces were 7 1/2x 6in
I used uhs glue because it does
give you some time to move the paper
I folded the paper over the edges
I cut the piece straight
so there wouldn't be any bulk
Cut the other piece at an angle like an envelope
Glue the piece over
I cut an additional piece to cover the part
that the paper didn't cover on the binding
I cut 2 pieces of contrasting paper
I believe 6x6
The overlap in the binding portion
doesn't matter if it matches up
as you will be covering it up
I hot glued the photo pages back in
applied a ribbon to the front
I topped it w a lace ribbon
I cut a piece I believe 3x 5 for the
pocket and applied glue to the edges
Yes I did change my mind
on the pocket paper
Good Eye!
Now the fun begins
by adding embellishments
I applied silk flowers I had seperated from a bush
added glitter jewels
buttons in the corner
For the tag I covered it with
the paper and printed the words
on vellum and added a ribbon
I got the inspiration for this at
I have a real special one

What a great way to add peronality to a plain photo album. Love you choice of colors and the little pocket. Thanks for sharing.
