Today Sue
from
took me to one of her favorite shops
I found a few treasures
This glass box was $9
I plan to put it on my dressing table
This had a tag on it saying it was
An Art Nouveau Victorian tieback
however it is like one my grandmother had
and it actually attaches to the rod between
the panels as a decoration
or it can be used to slide and
hold back the panel
I have been looking for one for years
and was surprised to find it for $3.95
This metal piece I got for $3.50
I believe it is a back for a drawer knob
Thanks Sue for showing me a new place
to find treasures!

ReplyDeleteYour trinket box is lovely. I know I have seen vintage perfume bottles with stoppers that match your top. It probably is from a lovely set.
