Covered Journal

I bought the journal
at Michael's
in their $1 bins

I took the cover off of the binding

applied the glue to the outside

brought the paper over the edges

I then covered the inside with a different paper
cutting it just a little shorter
than the cover

I used a crochet hook to punch threw the wholes

then put the binding back on

viola !!!

Although mine aren't as elaborate
I got the idea from

  14. I love how you took something from $1 to expensive designer journal. I am bookmarking thins idea for a future project.

I was wondering how hard it is to remove the cover. Do you just unroll the cover from the binding? How do you keep the paper intact?

    Thanks for sharing.
