I bought the journal
at Michael's
in their $1 bins
I took the cover off of the binding
applied the glue to the outside
brought the paper over the edges
I then covered the inside with a different paper
cutting it just a little shorter
than the cover
I used a crochet hook to punch threw the wholes
then put the binding back on
viola !!!
Although mine aren't as elaborate
I got the idea from

I love how you took something from $1 to expensive designer journal. I am bookmarking thins idea for a future project.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how hard it is to remove the cover. Do you just unroll the cover from the binding? How do you keep the paper intact?
Thanks for sharing.
