Antique Crusin' In

On the fourth we went to
an Antique Car Show
at our fairground
It was like taking
a trip back in  time
Not to mention a lot
of fond memories

 Pink Cadillac
by Springstein

I love you for your pink Cadillac
Crushed velvet seats
Riding in the back
Oozing down the street

Honey I just wonder what you do there in back
Of your pink Cadillac
Pink Cadillac

An Edsel

My first car was a '57 Chevy station wagon
similar to this -
this is a nomad
mine had 4 doors instead of 2
and was primer grey
It was stolen and crashed
boy did I love that car

My parents had a  Corvair

They would put down the back seat
when we went to drive-in
which was pretty cool

One of my boyfriends
had an Avanti
I thought it was such a cool car

A friend of mine had
one of these in blue
boy did we have some fun in that car
driving around the desert

I always wanted a Mustang

One last hood ornament

  3. ~heart~ the Pink Caddie. My first car was a Cadillac. We owned 3 of them at one time. Complete with a longhorn figurine on Mom's car to replace the lost hood ornament. LOL. It was the Cadillac Ranch :D

Can you identify the car underneath the Red Pickup? I once saw a solid white one parked in an alley, and it was so "League of Extrordinary Gentlemen" I wanted to know what it was, but no one knew.

  7. Oh dear... I see TWO vehicles I recognize. Not good!! lol My grandfather had a very similar truck and his was red too. I was probably about four years old. I loved riding in that truck.
My boyfriend in high school had the pink Cadillac! Yep!! My grandfather even had one of those... but brand new. The boy friend's was probably close to being on its last leg.
    Thanks for the memories.

  14. I can see you moving on to different boyfriends, but I would have tried to keep the Avanti in the deal. Many memories, not only of riding in these vehicles but in good times at car shows.
