Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

My hsb has a nasty
cold, so it was time to break
out the crockpot
and make some gd
old chicken noodle soup

1 box reduced fat chicken broth
1 pkg baby carrots chopped
1 C chopped chicken**
1 1/2 C chopped celery**
noodles
(I used short cut spaghetti
it reminds me of lipton noodle soup)

I put it all in a crockpot

and let it cook during the day
and served it w/ 12 grain WW baguette

**I usually use what I have as
leftovers from other meals
that I have chopped up and put in the freezer)

  1. I wasn't feeling great this week either, so I made chicken soup in the crock yesterday also. Only I spooned it over rice. Yummy.

  4. Perfect for a snowy day like today when I can't get to the store and have plenty of leftovers I could add to the broth. Thanks for a good idea.

  5. I love chicken soup and to have a Crockpot recipe is just great. It looks like we may be snowed in on Thursday, so I'm planning on making comfort food.

  7. Looks wonderful. I bet it would be equally good with rice instead of pasta too.
