I wanted to make
a sea glass type necklace
I bought a bag of glass accents
I picked out a piece
that was the size
and shape that would
work for me
the dilemma
was how to get a hole
in the glass
Then I realized my
that drilling a hole is a very slowwww
once I got the hole in it
I had some glass baubles
Very cute - I've thought of doing something similar but didn't have the nerve to try drilling class.

ReplyDeleteThat pendant caught my eye immediately. Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is the one and only reason I want a dremel, but I think it's a bit extravagant if this is all I'll ever do with it.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Jo. Happy Monday! La

Those are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove the color. Love the organic shape and sparkly details.
ReplyDeleteThose necklaces are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have a suggestion about how to drill glass that will be safer and most likely faster. Use a diamond drill bit. They are not too expensive and come in handy for many projects. Yes you can get one to fit a dremmel no problem. I am Surprised the ceramic bit worked! I have drilled glass a few times and each time it was HARD! Wow! You are STRONG and persistent! Great job! Thanks for sharing!
simple great design. did not know that getting that hole into glass would be so hard... Anyhow, good for you that you persevered as it came out great.
ReplyDeleteThank you for contributing it to our DIY Craft Linky party with us. I am extending the party with a new post today and would love to seem more of your lovely creations :0)
