Yesterday, we went to a town north of us to Robert Rothchild's Marketplace and Cafe
to celebrate our anniversary.
We haven't been up there in awhile, so imagine our surprise when we saw an empty building!
According to their website:
It is with much sadness that we announce the closing of our Café and Market, on July 31 and August 31, respectively. The decision has been made to focus our attention on our Gourmet Food business and growing the Robert Rothschild Farm brand. But we wanted to say thank you to you….
As sad as it is...........
...it forced us to find somewhere else to have lunch......
We came across........
Cafe Paradiso
We sat in the window and watched the cars go in and out the round-a-bout
Oh my was the food good!
Chuck had the Meatloaf Panini
I had the Italian Panini
It was nice to be in a cafe with tablecloths!
We are planning on going back to try dinner
we may even stay at the bed and breakfast down the road!
I wish our small town had a place like this downtown that we could walk to
The marinara was wonderful as was the meatloaf cant wait to go again..Chuck

nice little cafe. loved the old piano. my parents had one just like that. remember my Mom playing. my sister is now the proud owner of it.
