We are empty nesters......
This has been an extremely busy week…
On Sunday we had the graduation fiesta party for our youngest.
We waited until all the kids be in town to celebrate.
Tuesday Devon signed the lease on her new studio apartment.
It’s about 2 miles north of us – so not to far....
So there has been a lot of packing and moving....
Andrew helping his sister
The New Place.......
All 288 sq ft of it........
I'm standing in the doorway
No she's not a giant - 5'6" - the stove is that small
This is going to be odd, since we are a blended family we have never had a time we have been without kids…….so once Andrew goes back to Korea…..
we’ll be alone for the first time in 14 years
………….this is going to be odd………….
we told the kids to call before they stop by
…….ha...ha.....ha
Good for Jo! A new chapter begins. Have fun with it.

Welcome to the 'hood...empty nesthood!!
ReplyDeleteThis is our 3rd year of E.Nesting.
Everyday is different. Somedays, I miss the noise and activity, and on others, I love it!
Homecomings are great!

Yes... we are lovin' the empty nest as well. Of course we have experienced for years now, but it has reached the point that when they do come to visit it feels odd. You get used to having all the space in the house to yourself. Enjoy!!
