New Flower Bed

So we came home and he started marking out the new flower bed.

He has decided he wants to make as many flower beds as he can so that there is less to mow. The plan is to get it marked out and move some of the perennials from other beds over. Either later this year or next Spring he plans on building a dry stack stone wall around it, so it'll be more of a raised bed.

Great job Chuck!!!!!

  2. Thats the Chuck and JO that I know!! Working on their beautiful yards!! If you can pull off an amazing yard in base housing, then your own house should be nothing!

  3. Jo, this is gorgeous - and Chuck, you did a GREAT job! I love the house - and the new flower bed is just as beautiful! Trust me, I added a new flower bed last week - I know how difficult and time consuming that all is. Eeeek! But you did a great job, love the shape, love the plants, love the view. Gorgeous. Thanks for participating in Share a Garden Sunday! :)

  4. We prefer to pick grass one blade at a time out of flower beds rather than mow!

A nice bed and will give you years of pleasure.

  5. Such a cute house you have! Great job on the new garden bed. We're the same...the more flower beds (read: the less mowing), the better. :) ~~Rhonda
