This weekend we got this metal chair for our new flowerbed at a local antique store for $20 ( Most oft he ones we have seen are well over $50). When we put it in the space, the white made it stick out like a sore thumb...........
so off to Walmart and got some spray paint....................
Much better!
Oh, I love the chair. I have always admired that style and it is just gorgeous painted brown and in the flowerbed. What a lovely piece. Hugs, Marty

It looks so much more natural painted brown. Aged and weathered like it belongs in a garden.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little chair, and you're right, you got a bargain at $20! Don't you love spraypaint? It's my new friend! You're lucky to be able to put something nice like that out by the street. If I did that, it would be gone in 60 seconds!

Very nice. I notice you appear to live in my neck of the woods. It is always nice to find a nearby blogger. I began wondering if anyone in this Ohio, Ind., Ky. corner had similar tastes and loved junk enough to blog about it.
ReplyDeleteFits right in like it was always there! Good idea!
