This is the cake
my hsb wants for his b-d every year
1 choc cake mix
1 can frosting
1 can cherry pie filling
Grease Bundt pan
Make cake according to
package directions
Pour 3/4 of batter into the pan
top with cherries
I place them in the middle
using abt 1/2 the can
cover the cherries w remaining batter
the cherries rise to the top
so I try to put them
so that the batter
hits the pan while baking
heat the frosting enough
to be pourable
top w remaining cherries
Looks good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteYummy! That looks really good. My family should have made that one at Christmas while we kids were growing up. One of my cousins loved cherries, and my mom would decorate a Christmas cake with them.
ReplyDeleteWhen my mom wasn't looking, my cousin would sneak back in the room, steal a cherry off the cake, and try to hide what she did by moving a little Santa decoration mom also had on the cake over the "blank" spot that was supposed to have a cherry.
With your cake, my cousin would have had her fill of cherries without getting in trouble!
Oh, wow! This looks amazing! :)
