Thrifty Finds
I got all of these items a while ago...
The story that goes with these cups is they came to the US
on the lap of an elderly woman from Greece
many years ago
When they came into the thrift store I knew I had to have them
especially 12 for $10
I love these birds
I got them for $1
The Mikasa bowl was a $1 as well
The Christmas cup .50

Hi Jo! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your thrifted finds. Isn't it fun when we track down things that remind of us of our childhood and the past?
You asked me a question on my blog about the snowflakes in my window and whether they are paper or not. Actually, they are bottle brush snowflakes that I found in a gift shop in my small town and snapped up.
We need something pretty to get us through the long days of winter, right?
Thanks for visiting!
Linda :-)
What unusual cups! I've never seen a square bottom like that. No wonder you had to have them. It's nice they have a story too!
