I want to thank everyone
for such kind words
and I will be emailing everyone
personally in the next few days....
Today I got a very special card
from a very special lady ..........
Sandie, I know you read my blog
I just wanted to let you know
you touch our hearts
Thank You,
Too often we underestimate
the power of a touch,
the power of a touch,
a smile,
a kind word,
a listening ear,
an honest compliment,
or the smallest act of caring,
all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
Big hugs and my thoughts are with you x
ReplyDeleteJo that card brought a tear to my eye! Bless you and your family and Sandie for her thoughtfulness.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, how thoughtful of her. I hope you are doing well today.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo, Sorry I haven't been by- bit of a minor health crisis here at home with Mr. S. I know your pain about taking a beloved pet to end its suffering. I have done it twice because the Mr. could not. I still get a little sentimental and weepy when I go by each one of the vet offices~ and many years have gone by since our dogs went to doggie heaven.
ReplyDeleteYou are in a cleaning, de-cluttering mode just like many of us. I still have one last tree to take down. All 23 storage boxes are still piled up in the dining room ready to go into the attic. But it has been so cold and no one can help me until Wednesday, so it will remain a mess for a few days more.
I will need a major shopping trip to put me back into a good mood. I hate January with a passion. The weather is icky and cold and I just feel such a let-down after the crazy holiday season.
Give me a holler if you ever want to get out and grab a coffee and goodie. (do they have low calorie goodies out there anywhere?)
take care.
