How I Met My House

the photo on MLS listing

This going to sound odd
but I met my house after I bought it
when my husband was getting ready
to retire we knew we were coming back to Ohio
we knew the area not exactly the town

We had a gd idea
the town was centrally located
and after reading a novel that is my most favorite
set in a town with rolling hills
I knew this was the town I wanted to live in

I did house searches and this house
was the one I really fell in love with

my hsb flew out looked at a bunch of houses
he knew that this was my favorite
and after he saw the fireplace

he fell in love with it
He sent me photos
and he then put in an offer
He flew back to Utah
We closed a month later
and then my first sight of the house
was 2 months after that!

Today

Five years later it is still a work in progress

 right now                                           the future:

  1. Well Jo -- I don't blame you for falling in love. "Online dating" with the MLS listings is what lead me to OUR old house, too -- and it's a match made in heaven as well.
    Your house is so charming!
    Beautiful!!!
(What's the novel set in the rolling hills?)

  4. Greetings from my own work in progress. Honestly, 'finished' is seriously over-rated. I love what you've done so far!

  5. Your house is gorgeous! I love old houses and love what you've done so far. Queen Anne's are popular in my neck of the woods (Knoxville, TN) and they're always so charming.
