Farming....

On Saturday
 we started out going
 one place
(the Apple Fest)
and
ended up
in a lot of other places...

We were just driving down a country road

and came across this place
Garver Family Farm

    In 1926, this farm
was purchased
 by Harry Garver.
Four generations
 have proudly cared
 for this land. Many aspects
 of the farm
have changed
 in shape and size.
But one thing important
has remained the same
: this is still a family farm.

I think actually
the lure of pumpkin ice cream

is what drew us in

they sold all kinds of veggies

scarecrows

cornstalks

and of course

pumpkins

I love pumpkin ice cream

  1. You mean there's a pumpkin icecream? Wow, that must be an interesting taste. I wonder what you do with the cornstalks? I love all the pumpkins. What a wonderful way to spend and weekend. Thanks for the pictures so I could go along virtually too. Smiles.
