I walked out side
and saw this hawk
in my back yd

so odd to see in town

He must've seen something
he wanted for lunch

  1. Whoa, great shots, Jo! I've never seen one stop in our trees, but they often fly over the woods behind us. :-)

  2. I tried to get a pic of a hawk in a tree on our place but I was using my phone and you could not see the hawk.

SURE... this is a really late comment, BUT, this Cooper's Hawk, an Accipiter, is just the bird you will see in town. Why? Because all of the bird feeders are feeding the little birds upon which it feeds. Yumm yum. Little Brown Birds, or, as the accipiters call them, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
