Happy New Year

I couldn't decide
on which one
so I'm posting
all 3

Happy New Year
to
All!

This was quite the challenge to do on my own
besides taking the photo
I had to keep her in the box
and stop her from eating the
props. The 1st one came out
 the best design wise
 but was the darkest one
and in order to lighten
 it it became more grainey

Butterscotch Gingerbread Trifle

Butterscotch Gingerbread Trifle

Make gingerbread as per pkg instructions
make butterscotch pudding as per instructions

cut gingerbread into squares and layer on bottom

spoon butterscotch pudding on top

repeat

if you are doing it for a party
I would be more careful
on the layers
so that you can see each one
but since it was just for
the 3 of us
I just layered it on

add whip cream
I had mini gingerbread cookies
and you are done!

you can always use any cake mix
and any pudding mix
I usually alternate this one
with chocolate cake and
peppermint flavored pudding
(just add flavoring to vanilla pudding)
you can crush mints and sprinkle on the layer
or if for adults only creme de menthe

Puppies 1st Christmas

Time to get gussied up
for Christmas

I liked it except for the sprayer

A little nap before the festivities

A friend brought by a stocking but my mean
parents wouldn't let me have it

 Let the presents begin

I got a big stuffed puppy

and a retriever toy

I loved opening things
 - whether they were mine or not

I got these bubbles that were peach flavor
and didn't pop
they were made of some plastic

Opening presents was tiring

Cheesy Olive Bread

I made this for Christmas eve appetizer
I did omit the butter
 because it seemed
to have a lot of fat
I don't know if tastes
 different with the butter
but this was mighty good
 without it

Pioneer /woman's

  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • 6 ounces, weight Pimiento-stuffed Green Olives
  • 6 ounces, weight Black Olives
  • 2 bunches Green Onions (scallions)
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise
  • ¾ pounds Monterey Jack Cheese, Grated

Preparation Instructions

Roughly chop both black olives
and pimiento-stuffed green olives.
Slice green onions into thin pieces.
Combine mayonnaise, cheese, olives
and green onions in a mixing bowl.
 Stir together until thoroughly combined.
 Spread mixture onto French bread
 that has been sliced lengthwise.

Bake at 325ºF for 25 to 30 minutes
or until cheese is melted and browning.

11 weeks

This week has been an interesting one
I now weigh 18.4lbs

I like laying around

even on Moms boots when she is cooking
no I was NOT chewing on them

I got my second set of shots
and a new one
Mom took me home and
my face started to swell like a hippo
so she took me back and I got 2 more
icky shots!
but then I got to stay w/ Dr Matt
and the office staff loved on me for 2 hrs!

I am learning how to speak
with hand and verbal signs

I'm doing pretty good with sitting
on command

I love fighting with my Dad

I actually barked to go out!
my people were really happy!

I tried to mouth off to Mom
which didn't go so well for me
she has no humor....

I love chillin with Dad
