Cricut Fun - Cards

At First I thought these were just
birthday cards
but after looking at them
they don't say birthday
only party so I guess you
 could use them for anything
you want to celebrate..

I finally have started
 to play with my cricut
I got months ago

Cartridges:
George for the 4 in circle and  3 1/2 in wording
Doodlecharms for the 3 1/2 in hat

The card is 4 1/2 inx 6 1/4 in

I used cardstock
paper
and even paint chips

(on the hat)

buttons
and jewels on the fluff of the hat

I have a lot of birthdays
coming up so they'll
come to great use!

Teen Doodle Journal

My great- niece
 will be having
 her birthday this month
so I made her a doodle booklet

I explained in this posting
 how I did these booklets

Inside pages

Back pages

Since she was very little
I have given her
a charm for both
Christmas and her birthday
She told me this year
her bracelet is full...

So she gets another one!

I also stuck in
some stickers
and embellishments
for her to make
 her own pages
I used Cricut
Twinkle Toes
Jasmine
and
DoodleCharms

Teen Journal

I have a couple of nieces
that are having birthdays soon
I found these booklets
at Michael's for $2

They really didn't fit the young ladies style
They easily came apart

The ribbon
holds the pages in

I just untied them
and took the pages out

The pages

The top did have
 some chipboard
embellishments
 I took off with
an exacto knife
for future use

I also lightly sanded
the top for the glue

I just cut the paper to the
journal size
and glued it on with
uhu glue

Since this is a gift
I'm not showing the name

Some of the areas
are painted
so they are raised

Inside cover
I made pockets out of leftover papers

 I used my Cricut
 to make the shapes

I used Glossy Accents
to make the petals raised

What it Says
just a little book
for you to keep your
keepsakes
secrets....thoughts
dreams...hopes
or just some doodles

Inside back cover

What you can't see well is
the 16 is raised

Tag

I'm still trying to decide
if I want to put ribbons
on the tags
What do you think?

I am still working on the 2nd one
