It's hard to believe......

......it's been a year

since our sweet Emily died

I wasn't so sure I ever

wanted another dog

after her

 Isabella will never

 replace Emily

 just like Emily

never replaced

 the ones before her

I know for sure
 I was alway meant 

to have a dog in my life

there have been periods
where I didn't

 for this or that reason

 but I have always
 had one in my heart

 has a spot in my heart

Puppies 1st Christmas

Time to get gussied up

for Christmas

I liked it except for the sprayer

A little nap before the festivities

A friend brought by a stocking but my mean

parents wouldn't let me have it

 Let the presents begin

I got a big stuffed puppy

and a retriever toy

I loved opening things

 - whether they were mine or not

I got these bubbles that were peach flavor

and didn't pop

they were made of some plastic

Opening presents was tiring

She was at a dead run

All of my time has been with her

I'm hoping to get a few crafty things

done this week

but with this face it's awfully hard

Forever Home

The ride home was 2+ hrs 

and she slept all but abt 1/2hr of it

I think she likes her duck

 We stopped and she took care of business

insisting on one certain

spot and wouldn't go til

she was taken there

She is soooo stocky

she hops instead of walking

Since she lived out in the country

She wasn't so sure abt

all the cars she heard

But she had toy playing 

down to an art

A little peckish

She is a  little wide threw the haunches too

I think she might be waiting for Santa
