First Bloggerette Swap

So far I have not received my box
so
I will post when I do
I thought I would post
what I sent

BUT

It's odd
 I didn't take many pictures
of the swap I sent out
I did take pix of covering the box

I made a pattern out of tissue

tested it out

This is a new product
I found
at Joann Fabrics
it is sticky
but doesn't glue
until you heat it w an iron

It is wonderful
you can reposition it

when ready apply heat

I folded over the seams
to cover raw edges

I really liked the way
it turned out

I added a rosette flower
and a quote abt friends on top
of course I didn't take a photo of it!

Inside I put tags

photo frames

a pincushion

  5. Jo, what a cool product and what an amazing box you created! So pretty with its rosettes and the little poem.... Lots of goodies inside, too! I do hope your swap comes soon- it would be sad not to receive one. But maybe the mail is just slow!! The USPS takes 5 days to deliver a letter to New Mexico- and that's in the U.S.! I wonder how long it takes to send something to Mexico- the country! ha ha

  14. DEAR JO,
YOU DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB....THE MATERIAL IS BEAUTIFUL AND I SO APPRECIATE YOU SHARING HOW YOU MADE IT.
I THOUGHT THE BOXES WERE DUE ON THE 23RD SO I HAD MY HUSBAND OVERNIGHT IT....$32.00...I ALMOST FAINTED...IF HE HAD CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE AMOUNT, I WOULD HAVE SENT AN APOLOGY LETTER. I JUST NEARLY FAINTED, SINCE WE ARE ON A VERY STRICT BUDGET.
I SURE HOPE YOUR BOX ARRIVES...SOME THINGS JUST GET HELD UP.
HAVE A VERY HAPPY FALL AND A LOVELY WEEKEND..
IT IS SOOO VERY NICE TO MEET YOU.
    HUGS
