London Broil Marinade

While visiting my niece she made this
 for dinner one night
It was sooooo gd!

London Broil marinade

For marinade:
4 large garlic cloves -- minced
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano -- crumbled
1 teaspoon dried basil -- crumbled
1 teaspoon dried thyme -- crumbled
1/2 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes
2/3 cup olive oil
1 London broil -- (2 to 2 1/2 pound)

To make marinade: In a bowl,

 whisk together marinade ingredients
until combined well. Put London broil
in a large resealable plastic bag
and pour marinade over it. Seal bag,
pressing out excess air, and set
in a shallow dish. Marinate meat,
chilled, turning bag once or twice
the marinade, discarded the marinade,
 and pat the meat dry.

  6. Jo, If you look on my menu for this week you will see a very similar marinade. Your neice uses more herbs than I do, but this is my "go to" marinade and dressing. You posted a real winner! And your london broil looks luscious!

  11. Your recipe sounds great! London broil is my favorite type of steak. I would recommend trying grass fed Black Angus beef when cooking your london broil steak. It is absolutely delicious and a healthier option. I work with La Cense Beef and because our beef is 100% grass fed it is higher in omega 3 acids and lower in calorie and fat as opposed to traditional grain fed beef. Try grass fed Black Angus Beef and you will be able to taste an even bigger difference!
