These mini
comp books
come 3 to a pkg
for $1
I measured the pieces
and cut them out
with the cricut machine
then applied modpodge
using a
I sanded the edges and corner
Now for the binding
I cut the piece
with the cricut machine
and attached with modpodge
Before I put them on I rolled them
so it would be easier to put around the curve
Once they were on
I covered it
with modpodge
letting it dry overnight
standing up
for this one I cut a paper doily
Once it was to size
I applied modpodge
Once it was where I wanted it
I dabbed it into place
because I was afraid it
would tear
and allowed it to dry
added ribbon
and some glitz
(the glue will dry clear)
A few other designs
Some I didn't embellish
and a few I'm not sure
yet what to put on them
and a few I'm not sure
yet what to put on them
I will be selling these
so I have put them in sleeves

DeleteWow! They are gorgeous. My students would love these! I'd love it if you stopped by Whimsy Wednesdays and linked this up www.thenymelrosefamily.blogspot.com/2012/03/whimsy-wednesdays-1.html. I'm following.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you shared these at Whimsy Wednesday over at The NY Melrose Family. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next week.
ReplyDeleteJo, How do you come up with these good ideas?! LOL- you tell me you wish you had my knack for creating vignettes and decorating- I wish I had the crafting gene! What did you ever do re: the liability insurance issue?
ReplyDeleteThanks! while waiting for my ins agent to get back with me I found out if you are a member of the OH Art and Craft Guild I can get ins through them for abt 450 - agent call backed and a broker can get it for 547. Now waiting for OACG to send me the paperwork. Who knew it would be this difficult to get this done!
