Another Step Closer
I've talked abt the problems
we've had with trying to paint
the front of the house
Before the metal wrap
new sill
primed
We have been fighting time but this
weekend my hsb
was able to get the fishscales painted
and the house is getting another step closer to
being how I envisioned it
so far
I think we are getting close

First Bloggerette Swap
So far I have not received my box
so
so
I will post when I do
I thought I would post
what I sent
BUT
It's odd
I didn't take many pictures
of the swap I sent out
I did take pix of covering the box
I made a pattern out of tissue
tested it out
This is a new product
I found
at Joann Fabrics
it is sticky
but doesn't glue
until you heat it w an iron
It is wonderful
you can reposition it
when ready apply heat
I folded over the seams
to cover raw edges
I really liked the way
it turned out
I added a rosette flower
and a quote abt friends on top
Inside I put tags
photo frames
a pincushion
jewelry
some vintage wallpaper
Bingo card
Can't wait to see what everyone else got
there are so many creative ppl out there!
Check it out here

Spring or Fall or....Cleaning
I've been sort of of MIA
only posting here and there
and haven't done much
crafting
I have been
only posting here and there
and haven't done much
crafting
I have been
but...
I was really bad this Spring
putting it off to the Summer
Well the summer came
I got those nasty little bug bites
(all 400 of them)
that laid me out
so not a thing got done.
The other day
when I started looking around
I started seeing
when I started looking around
I started seeing
all the cob webs
and decided
I needed to get my rear in gear
and start some cleaning
Soooo
I've been taking one
room at a time and doing
and going threw drawers
and making decisions
on what to keep
and what to toss
and what to toss
Part of my motivation
is I need to pup proof the house
it's been over 12 yrs
and I know there
and I know there
are some yummy
looking cords
looking cords
hanging around
we did buy some of these
hopefully they will help
but its time to get everything
picked up that I don't want
to have to deal with
I was feeling guilty
abt Spring cleaning
6mo late
until my sister
said
maybe ....
you're 6 month early
Yup.....
That's My Story
and
I'm Sticking to It!
