I've been having fun making junque jewelry

my latest has been with keys

I wish I could show how

 pretty this shimmers

in the sun light

I used clear round beads

and paired them with vintage

iridescent disks

pearlized beads

and light purple seed beads

The hardest part is I fell

in love with the piece

I DID IT!!!!

After a yr of heming and hawing

I opened an etsy shop

the most nerve wracking

thing I have done in awhile!!!

Paperclip Jewelry

While cleaning

my studio

I came across some

shaped paperclips 

that I have

been having a hard time

 figuring out what to do with

today it came to me:

I added some beads 

and hung them from 

the clip

then attached the cord 

Why is it some days

 thing just seem to click

and you find an inspiration?

Marinated Zucchini Rounds

Slice the zucchini 

into rounds 

and marinate in the following

Worcestershire sauce

Olive oil

Italian Seasoning

Garlic

for abt 30 min.

My hsb then grilled it

in one of these pans

until brown and bubble

then he took them off the direct heat

to cook further

He then sprinkled 

them while they were hot

with 4C

Parmesan Romano Cheese

Bet you can't just eat one.....

Got this chair at a yd

sale for $3 because

it needed a minor repair

Now

in Buttery Yellow 

DIY Chalk Paint....

Power to the People

It started on Fri at 4pm

when a storm blew threw

and we lost power

until 1:30pm the next day

We ended up having to through out

all of the food

it was depressing

The storm didn't

do much damage around us

It was ok

we went and replaced

some of our food

then at 5:45pm

and we lost power

again - luckily only

for 4 hrs and we had gone and

iced the food we had bought

there was more

 damage around us

I had pork rib roast

in the crockpot

when it went out

so my hsb threw it on the grill

and we invited a friend

over since we were not 

sure at that time

if we were going to be

 without power again for hrs

We called it our black out bbq

There are still many who

are without power

and I  hope

it comes back on soon
