Pumpkin-paloosa

Last year a friend
had made these
and
sold them

  I bought this one
I really liked them
 but wanted to
 put my twist on it

I also bought 2 kids shirts
Once I started I couldn't stop
I paid btwn .50-1.00

I used twine I had on hand
and when I went to buy
brown twine
I found green
the tutorial is
at Hummadeedledee Blog

On the arms I cut
them right under the pit
then in half

Turned them inside out
and placed 4 pieces of twine
(abt 24in long b=but will
depend on height of pumpkin)
folded in half

twist a rubber band around the end
hint: get cording in center

turn right side out

stuff

distribute the cords

gather at the top
and secure with rubberband

something I did differently
I wrapped the twine up the stem
while gluing it into place

I coiled the twine
and added it to the top
to make it look more finished
The one photo I forgot
to take!

I plan to sell these at craft festivals
and hopefully will be getting
 my esty store
open sometime soon......

Bet you can't make just one.....

  4. Jo, these are just the cutest ones that I have seen. I saw some yesterday at the sale, the velvet ones......so expensive $30 plus a piece for small ones. I like yours better.
