These a a little bigger
than the teacups here
But still not really
enough to wet your whistle
This one is marked
Has very pretty roses on it
This one has no markings and is
rather odd in shape
and I'm not sure the base goes
with the cup
but it came into the thrift shop this way
the cup is light blue
the bas light green
Hi: I love the Lefton tea cup it is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it. I have never seen one with a pedestal so thin, just stunning. Have a wonderful week. I hope you will join us again next week. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteahhh very unique teacups! I really love the one with roses on it! lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Jo.
ReplyDeleteI love the base on the pink rose one. It's as if it is raising its head with great pride. I like the uniqueness of the green one as well. The little feet are just so appealing.
My collection is small as I started collecting tea cups last summer when I picked up a few at acution. I was researching them a bit this past weekend and one of them actually appears to be worth something. However, I collect them for their beauty, not their monetary value.
Happy Tuesday! La
Thank you so much for sharing with us such fabulously unique pieces! I see ones like these sometimes and do not pick them up only because I really like to use mine to drink from, but after seeing yours I think I should bring some home just to look pretty!
ReplyDeleteThey really are lovely.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Hugs,
Terri
Your tea cups are beautiful. Since I am a rose fan, I really like the Lefton piece; but the other is quite unique.
ReplyDeleteHappy Teacup Tuesday!
Hugs,
Penny
Omigosh Jo! I love both your teacups. The first one, I love the long dainty neck, the second one, I love the color and the legs.
