Waldorf Salad

4 apples - 2 red, 2 green chopped
3/4 C Celery chopped
3/4 C raisins - some people use grapes but my family likes raisins

  1. This does sound so good and if we go light on the mayo we will be eating such a healthy dish.
I think I would go with the grapes.

  3. I haven't had this salad for years and years! It used to be a staple for holiday get-togethers. Sounds as if you had a great time at your niece's home for Thanksgiving. I didn't cook- it was not a good day w/my head. We nuked whatever we could find in the freezer, I napped, then we went for dessert at my SIL's house. Hope Christmas goes a lot better! LOL
