My new "old" cart

I got this cart at GW outlet
for $2

I wasn't sure what
I was going to do with it

I just thought it was cute
but not really into the pink

I decided to crackle finish it
I thought copper as the base
until I put it on and didn't like it at all
way too pink

so a used a brown

since I wanted it aged looking
I wasn't overly careful
in painting

I then put the crackle finish
and once it dried applied
Heirloom White

Viola it started
cracking right away

I had a few flubs
 I had to go over
but in the end
that made it
look more aged

I painted the wheels heirloom
ochre color

I don't usually
like crackle finish
but I thought it
 would look better
as an aged piece

I plan to use it
to display items
when I have
my craft booth

Last weekend
was beautiful
warm and sunny
The first we stopped
at had a huge barn
filled with goodies

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Fried Pies and Pies

of course had apples

they also had a lot of trinkets

Apple Fritters

For some reason
I wasn't enamored with the place
it had a real commercial
feel and the employees weren't overly
friendly - when they short chged
us by $10 there wasn't an apology
just gave us the $10

This next place
which was right down the rd
was soooooo
much fun!

They had a petting zoo
no this isn't one
of the pettable ones

A really cool play yard for the kiddos

They ahd a barn with goodies

 isn't this chimera cool?

 They had a spooky room

of course apples

weigh station

inexpensive food

face painting

We had fun watching the kids

we stopped at just a farmer stand

Izzy went with us so
she was out stretching her legs

Not sure what was so interesting
in the corn stalk

They had a cafe/market

look at those pies

yummmm fudge

 Witch up in the corner

 Even the Munsters were there!
